If you’ve been a faithful reader since the beginning, you would know that the title of this series is explained in the first piece I wrote in October of 2017. The view from the top is what you get when you look out the windows on the 11th floor of 111 East Las Olas Boulevard in downtown Fort Lauderdale, home of the Innovation Hub. You look out and you get a nice view that points North, just past the helipad from which we’ve seen many helicopters take off and land. You now also see buildings coming up that dwarf everything around them. We’ve seen them come up from the ground at a very fast pace over the past two years.
As many of you may already know, I’m moving on from this spot. I will leave this view behind and will go down to trench level because right now I need to build some things that need building. I will not be doing this alone. I will lead some of these builds and will follow on others. I’m truly looking forward to all of this and to staying relevant in the entrepreneurship community. I thank all of you who have encouraged me by telling me they enjoy reading these articles. I have enjoyed writing them, they have provided clarity of thought, even though it’s been a bit of a grind sometimes.
I will take a short break from the writing but I’m sure the urge will come back. Stay connected if you are. Stay tuned, and to stay sane I would suggest you stay busy, maintain a playful mind and continue to look up around you searching to be awed.
